Today’s Wills and Probate have released the shortlist for their 2021 awards. We are proud that Holly Chantler, Head of Private Client, has been shortlisted for the Industry Champion Award, introduced for the first time this year. The Industry Champion Award recognises the individuals who have made a significant contribution to the wills and probate sector. Holly’s team have also been nominated for Private Client Team of the Year, which is incredible recognition for all their hard work during these challenging times. Outside of her role as Head of the Private Client department, Holly is also a Director for Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) who contribute to nationwide initiatives to promote knowledge and learning for private client solicitors. Holly is also a founding member and Director of the Professional Deputies Forum (PDF) who work to achieve formal learning and qualifications for Court of Protection (CoP) practitioners and campaign for improvements to the courts process, office of the public guardian, and financial institutions. As a firm, we are incredibly proud of the work Holly does. She is a champion for better outcomes for vulnerable clients, regularly acting for some of the most vulnerable people in society, going above and beyond to secure them the best possible quality of life. A nomination for industry champion from Today’s Wills and Probate is very well deserved and a testament to all of Holly’s hard work. This award is voted for by the public so if you would like to vote for Holly you can do so here. As mentioned above, our Private Client team have also been shortlisted for the Private Client Team of the Year award, which is a fantastic achievement, especially over the last 18 months. During this time our team have strived to overcome to challenges posed by lockdowns and restrictions to provide the best possible service to our clients, and have demonstrated the various ways in which they successfully work together across our office locations and with other departments to align with our firm’s core values. The team have put our clients first in many ways, signing wills on garden paths and going out of their way to safely deliver documents to those in isolation. The team, which spans across eight offices and different counties, with many working from home, have managed to work together to maintain client satisfaction. We thank the entire private client team for their efforts and for working tirelessly for our clients over the past year.
