Morr & Co is proud to announce it has taken home three major awards at this year’s Surrey Legal Awards 2025 – ‘Employer of the Year’, ‘Employment Team of the Year’ and ‘Lawyer of the Year’, awarded to Partner, Natalie Payne.

These awards highlight Morr & Co’s position as one of the region’s leading firms, recognising its commitment to its people, its clients and the exceptional work delivered across the firm every day.

Catherine Fisher, Managing Partner at Morr & Co, commented:

We are incredibly proud of our teams and Natalie for being recognised at this year’s Surrey Legal Awards. These awards reflect the dedication, talent and passion that define Morr & Co and reinforce our ongoing commitment to supporting our people and providing outstanding client service.

The Employer of the Year award is a particularly proud achievement, reflecting the continued investment in creating a supportive, inclusive and rewarding workplace for everyone at Morr & Co. Over the past year, Morr & Co has placed a strong focus on nurturing talent, promoting from within and creating opportunities for growth at every level. This award reflects the firm’s belief that by supporting and empowering its people, it can continue to deliver the highest standards of service to clients.

The Employment Team of the Year award acknowledges the Employment team’s expertise, collaboration and client-focused approach. Over the past year, Mel McCrum and his team has supported businesses and individuals through complex and often sensitive matters, from workplace disputes and restructures to equality and inclusion initiatives. Their ability to combine technical excellence with empathy and practical guidance continues to set them apart in this competitive field.

Natalie Payne’s recognition as Lawyer of the Year is an equally proud moment for the firm. As a Partner in the Private Client team, Natalie is highly respected for her technical knowledge and her sensitive, client-centred approach to complex estate and succession matters. She has built strong, long-lasting relationships with families across the region and is known for providing clear, compassionate and pragmatic advice during what can often be emotionally challenging times. This award is a wonderful reflection of her leadership, professionalism and the trust her clients and colleagues place in her.

Catherine Fisher adds:

Winning across these key categories reflects the hard work and collaboration of our people and the trust that our clients place in us every day. I am so proud of everyone involved and excited to build on this momentum and continue delivering excellence across all areas of our practice.
