Dispute Resolution for Individuals

Resolving your dispute. Defending your interests.

When a dispute blocks your progress, we help find the right way through.

There’s more than one way to resolve a dispute. Our specialists will take you through your options for an efficient, cost-effective resolution, including arbitration, mediation and, if necessary, litigation. The only non-negotiable is how we put your priorities first.

Our team are experience in resolving disputes relating to a wide range of issues that affect you, your family or your business interests, including:

We will help you navigate towards resolution through:

  • Mediation: A collaborative approach that often leads to faster, more cost-effective solutions
  • Arbitration: Structured resolution outside the courtroom
  • Litigation: Robust court representation when necessary

We can also draw on the experience and knowledge of specialist teams, including colleagues from our employment, property, clinical negligence and personal injury teams, to ensure that whatever course you take, we have the best possible chance of success.

We recognise that value for money is also a concern for you, so we provide estimates and updates to help you to project manage litigation costs effectively. We offer a range of innovative pricing solutions to ensure that our services are tailored to your budget as well as your need. In some cases, we will offer a “no win no fee” arrangement, or fixed prices for set pieces of work.

It is rarely cost-effective to instruct a solicitor to act for you in a small claim (valued at £10,000 or less) but you may want to buy legal advice on a pay-as-you-go basis and we will be happy to provide an estimate on this basis.
