Who are Stripey Stork?

Who are Stripey Stork is a Reigate-based charity that supports children and families across Surrey and Croydon. They collect donations of essential items for children from 0-18 years, such as cots, buggies, clothing, toiletries and toys, and pass them on to those who need a helping hand. By working with a network of referral partners, they ensure every item reaches the right family, tailored to their specific needs.

As one of the UK’s largest baby banks, they offer practical support to alleviate the impacts of poverty with dignity and care. Their work is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the best possible start, and that by sharing and reusing we can help to extend the life cycle of essential items. How Morr & Co get involved?

Morr & Co have been supporting Stripey Stork for more than a decade in several ways, including:

  • we have supporting the annual Santa Stork campaign for many years. Our team of volunteers use the Morr & Co van to help help deliver essential Christmas gifts to families across Surrey and Croydon
  • fundraising and organising collections
  • supporting Stripey Stork at key local community events, such as Run Reigate
  • providing the use or Morr & Co’s office facilities for Stripey Stork to hold board and strategy meetings

Stripey Stork quote

Morr & Co have been a valued supporter of Stripey Stork since we started in 2013, demonstrating a strong commitment to making a positive impact in the community. Their contributions have played an important role in helping us provide practical support to families in need across Surrey.

From offering office space for our strategy and planning meetings to fundraising at events like Run Reigate, Morr & Co have supported our work in meaningful ways. A highlight of our partnership is their involvement in our annual Christmas campaign. Each year, their branded van becomes Santa’s sleigh, delivering gifts to children who might otherwise go without. Seeing their team arrive in Christmas jumpers, ready to make a difference, brings a great sense of community spirit to the campaign and highlights what can be achieved through collaboration.

Partnerships like this are vital to a charity’s success, and they also bring benefits to the businesses involved. When Morr & Co staff actively participate in our initiatives, they gain a deeper awareness of the challenges facing local families and the important work happening in their community. We’re grateful for Morr & Cos ongoing support.”
