Key Responsibilities of the Client Onboarding Administrator

  • Monitoring the firm’s onboarding system to ensure that new files are opened using the correct procedure.
  • Interact with new clients to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience, addressing inquiries, and providing necessary information.
  • Dealing with compliance procedures including Solicitor Checks, ID Documents, evidence of funds, conflict checks and AML/KYC processes, using specialised software.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with teams and clients, keeping them informed about the onboarding progress.
  • Preparing client engagement letters and virtual files
  • Communicate with clients regarding matter related issues under the supervision of the fee earner.
  • As requested by the Fee Earner produce work for clients to a standard that will maintain the Firm’s reputation.

The Suitable Candidate…

  • Will have a minimum of GCSE English and Maths at A-C/4-9 or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work under pressured whilst adhering to time constraints.
  • Enthusiastic and keen to offer support to the team and be relied on.
  • Excellent IT skills and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • Ability to use own initiative and demonstrate excellent team working skills.
  • Demonstrates evidence of flexibility.
  • Demonstrates evidence of taking responsibility.
