Applications for our 2026 Training Contracts open on 1st March 2025 and will close on 30th April 2025.
At Morr & Co, our Training Contracts offer more than just qualification – they are the foundation of your legal career. With nearly 300 years of legal excellence, we understand what it takes to develop exceptional solicitors.
Each year, we select two to four trainees to join our team. Whether you are an LPC graduate, following the Period of Recognised Training route, or have completed your SQE and are seeking Qualifying Work Experience, our approach blends hands-on client work with structured learning. This combination equips you with the skills and confidence to excel in modern legal practice.
Our structured training program offers high-quality supervision, meaningful client exposure, and opportunities to take on real responsibility from day one.
Submit your application form together with your CV, detailing your academic achievements, work experience, and motivations for joining us.
For those who are shortlisted will be invited to attend an assessment day at our head office, where you will be required to complete assessments and deliver a presentation designed to evaluate key skills such as problem-solving and critical thinking.
Shortlisted candidates will be sent a psychometric profile questionnaire and invited to attend an interview with our trainee solicitor recruitment panel.
Successful candidates will receive a formal offer 1 week after final interview.
We will also offer feedback to any unsuccessful candidates.
We value candidates who bring both academic excellence and human understanding to their work.
While we typically expect a 2:1 degree or above, we recognise that great solicitors need more than just academic achievements.
The qualities that will help you succeed include:

Start your journey with us and become part of a firm that values ambition, integrity, and excellence.
