Douglas is a Paralegal in our Residential Property team assisting with sales and purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages and lease extensions.

Having joined Morr & Co in 2022 as a Legal Support Assistant, Douglas quickly progressed to his current Paralegal role in 2023.

His unique background in architecture and planning brings valuable insight to property matters, allowing him to understand both the practical and legal aspects of property transactions.

This comprehensive perspective helps ensure a smooth process for clients from initial instruction through to completion.

Based in our Wimbledon office, he works alongside our experienced lawyers throughout the entire conveyancing process.

Experience

  • Supporting the team on complex residential property transactions, including coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure efficient completion
  • Assisting with lease extension applications, helping clients navigate the technical requirements and deadlines
  • Managing transfers of equity and remortgage transactions, ensuring thorough attention to detail throughout the process

Qualifications & membership

Douglas holds a Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Law (2022) and is currently working towards qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive, specialising in Residential Conveyancing.
