Application process

Our application process is thorough but transparent, designed to help us both understand if we’re the right fit for each other.

Stage One

Initial Application

Submit your CV, cover letter and completed application form to hr@morrlaw.com

Stage Two

Assessment Stage

Verbal reasoning and written accuracy tests
Group networking session at one of our offices
Presentation task

Stage Three

Final Interview

Face-to-face interview
Psychometric assessment

We aim to respond to all candidates within 2-3 weeks of their final interview, providing constructive feedback regardless of the outcome.

How many Training Contracts do you offer?

When does your Solicitor Trainee application process start?

What training seats would I be most likely to undertake during my Training Contract and would I have the choice of what seats to take?

During your Training Contract, you would undertake 4 x 6 monthly training seats.

Whilst we try to take your choice in to consideration, this is not always possible, but we do endeavour to accommodate your wishes as best as we can. At all times we will discuss this with you.

When is the deadline for applying for a Training Contract?

Applications are now open for closed 2025 intake.

Our application process opens in March 2025 for our 2026 intake.

Can I apply for a Training Contract if I have not yet completed my LPC?

Yes, we accept applications from students who have not started their training. Please note that you would have either completed your LPC or had started your LPC (part time) when you joined us.

Do you fund the Professional Skills Course?

Will I be offered a permanent role at the end of my Training Contract?

Whilst we always endeavour to retain our trainee solicitors once they have qualified. However, this does depend on the business needs.

We cannot guarantee that you will be kept on after your Training Contract. We do however always communicate with you at least 2 months before you contact was due to come to an end.
