Working within our successful Court of Protection team, this is a role that will see the successful candidate supporting Lawyers and Paralegals with all administration tasks. We are looking for a Senior Court of Protection Solicitor, 6 years + PQE with the ability to work closely with the Department Head and manage their own case load, progressing cases independently. The ideal candidate will have experience of advising and supporting clients on all Court of Protection matters including managing/making decisions relating to property and financial affairs, preparing LPA’s, drafting applications to the Court of protection, preparation of annual reports and billing and file management. Experience of Court of Protection matters involving Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence is desirable, as is a following in this area. We are looking for a candidate who is commercially minded and meets a healthy financial target, but who will go the extra mile to provide Excellence in everything they do. Experience: The team’s case load is almost exclusively High Court, and the candidate will need to demonstrate experience of working in the Business & Property Courts and in accordance with the Disclosure Pilot Experience of electronic disclosure and use of e-disclosure platforms. Ability to plan, manage and strategize high-value litigation.
