Holiday pay claims


Employees who receive payments on top of their basic wage such as overtime, commission, shift premiums or other payments may now be entitled to receive such payments with their holiday pay.  The principal behind this is that employees should not be deterred from taking holiday because of receiving less pay whilst they are off work.  What’s more, if you have not received such payments before you may have a claim for holiday back pay going back several years.
