Our bi-monthly networking event, R&R Connects, took place last night (3rd August) at Old Reigatian’s RFC and the summer half term didn’t seem to stop many of the local business professionals coming down to meet new contacts and catch up with their peers.
With the weather being up and down and as well as business hitting peaks and troughs for many during these summer months, the atmosphere in the room was still as friendly and positive as ever. It is still so great to see more and more of our regular attendees bringing along other guests and introducing them to R&R Connects. We really hope that you continue to find our events valuable in building new relationships and we hope to see the new faces return in future.
As the drinks and canapés were flowing, Michele Peters, Solicitor in our private client team, took to the floor to tell our guests a little bit more about what ‘private client’ actually means and explain some of the services that her team provide.
Michele then handed over to Jordan Clarke, Senior Business Development and Marketing Executive at Morrisons, to mention a little bit about our new chosen charity for our Redhill office this year, St Catherine’s Hospice. We are very excited to be supporting such a great and local charity whose ambition it is to help everyone face death informed, supported and pain free. As part of our commitment to their cause, Morrisons Solicitors has entered a team in their Dragon Boat Race on 10th September at Tilgate Park and we would really appreciate your help to raise as much money as possible. After much suspense, congratulations again to Brendan Lee from Qdos and first timer at R&R Connects Andrew Holmes from Scanlans for winning our business prize card draw and taking home a bottle of bubbly and Morrisons goody bag!
We look forward to seeing you all at our next R&R Connects and thank you again to everyone for their continued support.
