My role & experience
I am a Property Litigation Solicitor within the Dispute Resolution Team. I qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and joined Morrisons in 2015 from Pinsent Masons. I have extensive experience advising on a wide range of contentious property issues, including: break notice disputes, business tenancy renewals, dilapidations, possession actions, rent and service charge disputes and enforcing lease covenants.
My specific experience
I recently acted for a commercial tenant in a rent review dispute concerning the interpretation of a single clause in the Lease. The Court agreed with our interpretation, resulting in a rental saving of around £250k.
My area of expertise
My main areas of expertise are business tenancy disputes and renewals arising under the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954. With considerable experience in this area, I am able to offer fixed-fee advice on a variety of instructions in this area.
I also have particularise expertise in the niche area of property-related telecoms litigation, having spent many years advising telecoms operators and landowners on their rights and responsibilities under the Electronic Communications Code. https://morrlaw.com/commercial-dispute-resolution/telecoms-disputes-advice-for-landowners-and-landlords/
