On 2nd July Morrisons Solicitors were proud to join the great and the good of Reigate at Priory Park as headline sponsors of the 8th annual Reigate Community Festival.
The event was packed with stands from local charities, businesses and organisations, with entertainment provided by Like2Lift’s strongman competition, Kokova’s dog show, hill boarding, beat the goalie from Reigate Priory Football club and displays from local schools and dance clubs.
The Matthews Organisation brought along their beautiful funfair and Susy Radio provided six hours of outdoor broadcast including the opening of the event by the Mayor of Reigate and Banstead, David Powell.
The Arts Marquee proved a great hit with the public, with many local artists displaying their pieces including Susie West and Kirstin Wood. There was also an arts and crafts section of children, with the winners being judged by local graphic designer Sarah Godsell.
The morning’s glorious sunshine turned into a damp afternoon and evening, but the community spirit prevailed and hundreds partied into the evening in the live music marquee.
